GTB Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2013 almost here. WHOOP WHOOP!! Mark your calendars for October 23-26 when the Lagos Fashion Design Week in collaboration with the British Fashion Council will crown a winner in the category of design, modeling and entrepreneurship. The lives of three people will change for the better, and we would like to salute the effort of the L.F.D.W and British Fashion Council for giving emerging African designers the possibility to take their brand and vision to the next level.
More than just a fashion show, GTB LFDW is a multifaceted fashion event that “aims to drive the A multi day fashion event that aims to drive the Nigerian Fashion industry and lift its profile by bringing together buyers, consumers and the media to view the current collections of designers in the fashion capital of Lagos, Nigeria.
Here's the list of designers set to display their pieces on the runway below:
20 young designers have been shortlisted as candidates who will compete to create a collection for the MTN Young Designer Awards 2013 where the winner will receive a cash prize of N4 million courtesy MTN.
The Guaranty Trust Bank Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2013 is co-sponsored by MTN Nigeria, British Council, Maybelline New York and Wings Magazine the In-flight Magazine for Arik Air.
