GTBLFDW 2013 SHOW REPORT: DAY 1: ELLA AND GABBY

Fashion Forward designer Ada Mgbudem of Nigerian-based luxury brand Ella & Gabby launched her capsule 2013 collection with a runway showcase on day 1 (23rd of October) at the GTB Lagos Fashion & Design Week currently taking place until the 26th of October at Ocean View, Eko Hotel on Adetokunbo Ademola Street in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Pieces came in universal and vibrant colours such as black, tan, green, pink and red as well the brand’s signature fabric of Ankara prints. The collection also featured Ella & Gabby’s exotic signature beadings and embellishments.The runway showcase saw simple and chic dresses as well as other separates consisting of trousers, skirts and tops all beautifully crafted to suit today’s modern and fashionable woman who is no afraid to be the centre of attention.
